How the estimates work
Area calculation: floor area × fill depth × 0.60 ÷ the volume of one piece (π × diameter³ ÷ 6). The 0.55–0.64 range illustrates the gaps between randomly packed spheres; it is not a measured Erdem fill rate. Obstacles, shallow pits and real-world filling can change the result. Container estimate: container volume × 0.87 utilization ÷ the volume of one 500-piece sack (500 × piece volume ÷ 0.60). The 0.85–0.90 utilization range matches our full-container loading records. A filled 500-piece sack measures about 50 × 65 × 75 cm (7 cm) or 43 × 56 × 64 cm (6 cm) edge to edge; the contents occupy roughly 61% of that box. Carrier volume: Hapag-Lloyd 40′ HC. Which colors can I order?
Explore 24 standard colors: four classic colors, soft tones, pearl and metallic finishes, and transparent. Every color can be ordered in 6 cm and 7 cm and in any pack format, as a single color or a mixed combination; availability and minimum order are confirmed in your quote.
How many ball pit balls do I need?
Quantity depends on the pit’s floor area, fill depth and the diameter you choose. Use the calculator for a theoretical estimate and a rounded pack count. It allows for the gaps in a random fill; confirm the final fill with a sample before ordering.
How are bulk orders loaded for export?
Bulk orders are packed in 500-piece sacks and loaded without pallets. Choose 20′ GP, 40′ GP or 40′ HC in the container planner for an estimated loading per container, in line with our loading records. The final loading plan is confirmed in your quote.
Are your ball pit balls safe for children?
Yes. They are manufactured from BPA-free, food-contact-safe LDPE. Each batch is CE marked under EU Toy Safety Directive 2009/48/EC and tested against EN 71-1 (mechanical and physical), EN 71-2 (flammability), and EN 71-3 (migration of certain elements). Chemical compliance is verified under REACH. Independent test reports are provided on request.
How many colors do you offer?
24 standard colors: four classic colors, soft tones, pearl finishes and transparent. Custom Pantone color matching is available on high-volume orders.
Do you produce private-label or OEM ball pit balls?
Yes. We manufacture under your brand with custom packaging and logo application. Custom Pantone colors are available on high-volume orders. Contact us with your specifications for a tailored quote.
Where are the ball pit balls manufactured?
All ball pit balls are produced in our Istanbul facility. Erdem Toys has been manufacturing ball pit balls in-house since 2014.
